Area health district reports three more deaths and 109 new cases of Covid-19

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Waco-McLennan County Health District announced Saturday afternoon that COVID-19 has claimed three more lives. A 79-year-old Hispanic male, a 70-year-old white male and a 90-year-old white female.

This brings the total deaths in McLennan County to 137.

The county also reported 109 new cases of the virus bringing the total reported cases to 9,399. Of the total, 585 cases are active and an estimated 8,677 patients have recovered.

58 patients were hospitalized and 15 cases are on ventilators.
