KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) – A woman who was found dead Tuesday underneath a tree in the 4800 block of Rainbow Circle in Killeen was identified Wednesday as Ronda Kaye Mack, 54.

A resident found the woman’s body and called police at around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The resident who reported the body said the woman appeared to have a plastic bag on her feet and one over her head.

When the officers arrived, they found Mack unresponsive.

“Paramedics arrived to provide first aid and found no signs of life,” police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said.

She confirmed plastic bags covered a portion of the woman’s body.

No immediate signs of foul play were found, she said.

An autopsy was ordered.

No further information was provided.
