GROESBECK, Texas (KWTX) – The Groesbeck Police Department’s K9, Java, is credited with sniffing out drugs after a traffic stop Wednesday.

The dog and its handler were requested after a Groesbeck officer pulled a driver over Wednesday in the 400 block of West Jacinto.

The dog alerted to the presence of narcotics, and officers recovered about 20 grams of methamphetamine and a small quantity of hydrocodone.

Officers arrested Raven Neumann, who was taken to the Limestone County Jail, police said.
