Heat and humidity return but some relief may be in sight
It will be a warm and cloudy night with low temperatures only dropping to the mid 70s. If your inside temperature is cooler than the dew point outside, which those will stay around 71°-77°, you may see some foggy windows overnight and in the morning.
Tomorrow is expected to be slightly warmer with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Continue to practice heat safety if working or spending time outside, as heat index values between 101°-105° are expected tomorrow afternoon. Heat continues Friday and Saturday with afternoon heat index values around 105° each day.
There could be some isolated storms Sunday, as a slow-moving cold front approaches. Rain chances go up and temperatures go down a bit into the upper 80s early next week. Highest rain chances look to be on Monday and Tuesday of next week, with some scattered activity around.
