Florence Road reopened after police take one into custody

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Killeen Police reopened Florence Road to drivers at about 7 p.m. Thursday and took a person into custody later in the evening.
Earlier Thursday, officers asked the public to avoid the area of Florence Road and Lydia Drive, in addition to the area of Florence Road and Mary Jane Drive.
A police spokeswoman told KWTX officers received calls regarding someone who intended to harm themselves.
At the time police responded to the area, officers did not know whether that person was armed.
The person was taken into custody without incident at about 7:40 p.m.
