A College Station man is accused of stealing two people's identities using their job applications and ID's.

Police say they found Michael Lopez, 25, intoxicated with his car running in an apartment parking lot on Southwest Parkway early Wednesday morning.

When officers found several ID's and a social security card for other people in his car, Lopez told police he was an Uber driver and they'd left them after getting dropped off.

After contacting the victims, none of them said they had taken an Uber.

Police searched Lopez's apartment and found two job applications for the victims as well.

Authorities say Lopez admitted to being a manager at a local restaurant and taking the applications home from work.

He arrested, charged with fraud, and then released after posting a $5,000 bond, according to online jail records.
