Bryan man caught evading police after shorts fall down
A wanted Bryan man was caught when he tried to run away from police, but his shorts fell down and tripped him up.
Bryan Police say 36-year-old Keith Calhoun had several warrants out for his arrest. They went to his home to take him into custody around 9:00 p.m., Sunday night.
Officers were aware that Calhoun had a history of evading police, so they positioned an extra officer in the backyard.
Police say when they entered the home, Calhoun ran out the front door past one officer and towards the backyard. He saw the other officer and tried to run the other way, but that's when officers say his shorts fell to his knees, bringing him to the ground.
He's charged with evading arrest, and the previous warrant of failing to identify as a fugitive.
