A wanted man for robbery in Bell County has been arrested in Bryan after giving police a fake name.

Bryan Police said Edward Love, 20, was in a car parked at the Tobacco Barn around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers noticed the car tag was expired.

They searched the car after smelling the odor of marijuana.

Police found a backpack containing marijuana and a pistol inside the vehicle.

No one claimed it, but all three occupants in the car were arrested.

Love told police his name was Trey, but an officer recognized him from working as a school resource officer.

Love is wanted in Bell County for aggravated robbery and for a probation violation, as well in Killeen for unlawfully carrying a weapon and discharging a firearm in the city.
