Dr. Jody Edward Ginn was named director of development for the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum. Dr. Ginn has raised funds for historical projects like traveling museum exhibits, educational films and full museum development projects for more than 20 years.
Killeen ISD recognized Reagan Quinn and Haleigh Boyer for earning top awards at the Texas Association of Future Educators’ National Conference in Washington D.C. Reagan won 3rd place in varsity lesson planning and Haleigh placed in the top 10 for exploring career-- non-core teachers.
24 Killeen ISD Career Center FFA members have been awarded a Loan Star degree award. The Career Center received the largest number of awards in the district’s history and has the most in the state for the past school year. Way to go guys!
Congratulations to Camryn Sinkule from West for receiving her Lonestar degree at the Texas Future Farmers of America convention this week. This is the highest degree in the state of Texas that an FFA member can receive. Great job Camryn, we are so proud of you.
Belton ISD wants to shout out Lily and Baylee. They participated in the International Thespian Festival at the University of Indiana-Bloomington. The title of their play is called The Norwegian. They were awarded a superior rating for their acting duet!
16 members of “Leadership Killeen” graduated from various businesses around the area. Leadership Killeen is a monthly program starting in September offering participants leadership training and opportunities to become more involved in the local community.
